Get ready to “Bring the Arboretum Home” as Trees Atlanta hosts its first annual Atlanta Canopy Conference. Held at the Trees Atlanta Kendeda Center, this conference will educate, inform, and inspire attendees while giving participants the tools to protect our urban canopy. Intended for professionals, community leaders, and residents, guests will learn how to take the lessons learned from the creation of the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum and other arboreta and apply them to their own projects, no matter the scale.

Park Pride and the Steering Committee for the Memorial Drive Greenway invite you to participate, dream, share your thoughts, and help develop concepts for this linear park along Memorial Drive. Your opinion is critical to the success of this park. If you live in the area, or if you are simply interested in the future of our parks and greenspace, we invite you to complete the survey - but hurry - the survey closes on August 30th! Thank you!

Please join GPNA and Trees Atlanta for our monthly meeting tonight.

Come out to the GPNA General Meeting to learn about OUR trees!!! 7:30 pm Zoo Atlanta, Education Gate off south end of Cherokee Parking lot.

For more than a decade, Atlanta art and music lovers have flocked to Grant Park each August to bid adieu to summer at the Summer Shade Festival. We’ve got two days of outdoor fun planned for all ages including a 5K Run for the Park, food trucks, craft beer, an entertaining Kids Zone and a music line up that just gets better every year. So, bring your blanket, bring the whole family, but don’t bring any pets, and spend summer’s final weekend at the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival.

Please join the City of Atlanta and Atlanta City Councilmembers Kwanza Hall, Alex Wan and Natalyn Archibong for a community engagement meeting to discuss the future of Monroe Drive Northeast and Boulevard Drive Northeast from Piedmont Circle to Memorial Drive.

Kroger will donate money to GPNA, now you must annually renew your Plus Card! Also select Grant Park Neighborhood Association Inc @AmazonSmile.

The new school year will started with transformation for students at Atlanta’s Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School. The dated facilities underwent a dramatic renovation by Perkins+Will, a leading global architecture firm, to enhance student learning and faculty performance.

We are so fortunate to have caring neighbors among our community and in Grant Park.  Ultimately, we know that our communities need to work together, cohesively, on a comprehensive plan. The Peoplestown Neighborhood Association's responsibility is to be the voice of our Peoplestown residents and neighbors in this process.

This is a good place to stay informed and give feedback. This page is about the redevelopment of Turner Field from the Georgia State University, Carter, Oakwood Development, and Healey Weatherholtz Team.

The Turner Field Stadium Neighborhoods LCI is a joint planning effort of the City of Atlanta and Invest Atlanta. Stay informed and be a part of the process!

Calling all Grant Park residents...the very best way to deter crime in our neighborhood is to be watchful neighbors and you can contribute by becoming a Block Captain and spreading the word about the Grant Park Neighborhood Watch program.

Save the date, November 14, 2015, 8pm to Midnight. You won't want to miss it!!!!!
