  • Welcomed everyone, explained the agenda and open floor rules, and voting eligibility
  • Thank you to Zoo Atlanta for allowing the use of the building for the meeting
  • Next meeting is Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 7:30pm

    • Tunes by the Tombs Event - June 13
    • Motion of support for Tunes by the Tomb approved unanimously
  • Sheryl Bennett, Office of City Councilmember Carla Smith District 1
    • CHARM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) is planned to open in April at 1110 Hill Street. There you will be able to recycle materials like tires and couches.

  • Many races to come through Grant Park in coming months. Be aware of road closures
  • Trestletree Neighbors Agreement presented and approved with 1 nay
  • You can volunteer for neighborhood watch by emailing brad.nevin@gmail.com. Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held in April, details TBD with announcement on website.
  • Zone 6 update

      • Concern for crime in north of Zone 6 (Little Five Points and Ponce)
    • Zone 6 Community Prosecutor: Keith Lamar, keith.lamar@fultonga.gov, 404-612-7012
      • Citizen's Courtwatch can keep you up to date on trials, so that you can come and voice your concern to the judge about crimes committed in neighborhood. Be on lookout for following trial of Paul Williams.
Land Use and Zoning, Rick Hudson
  • Grant/Ormond Redevelopment has requested a reduction in parking. Motion to support was approved unanimously
  • Cherokee Lots: Motion of support approved with a vote of 18-2-2.
  • April 17 - Groundbreaking at 800 Glenwood
Homes and History, Paul Simo
  • Tip of the month: Be accountable for changes made to your historic home
  • Committee will soon begin rewriting design regulations
  • Hill-Ormond update
Fundraising
  • Paul Simo & Abbi Rabeneck, Tour of Homes Update: Stroll Through Time theme will continue this year
