In addition to the regular ongoing yoga classes currently offered at Cuong Nhu Martial Arts (Wed 7:30 - 8:30 pm and Fri 8:00 - 9:00 am), we are pleased to announce special summer yoga workshops. Lead by Certified Yoga Teacher, Karen Dorffman these workshops include: Kick-Ass Yoga Class – July 17th, Partner Yoga Workshop – August 7th, and Yoga for Beginners - August 21st.
Kick-Ass Yoga Class –
July 17th

We’re taking yoga up a notch and putting the power into Power Yoga! We will teach you different flow sequences and then move you through them to music in a continual loop like a dance. This allows the mind to take a backseat from "Am I doing this right?" to having the experience of being one with your body, breath, and music….just feel and flow! The sequences will progress from slower moving up to more dynamic, and we will end with a well-deserved cool down and a very long, relaxing savasana.

Partner Yoga Workshop– August 7th

3-5pm $40 per couple
In this workshop we will move through playful sequences of partner-assisted poses where one helps the other as well as yoga poses where each person reflects the other in dynamic and balanced symmetries. Experience new dimensions of yoga poses while developing trust, and striking a balance between
support, effort & release. This workshop is for all levels. You can come with a friend, sibling, romantic partner, etc. So grab a partner and be prepared to laugh and have fun.
Yoga for Beginners- August 21st
with Karen
1-3pm $20
Begin with the basics in a non-intimidating atmosphere. This class will consist of basic yoga poses, breathwork, postural awareness and theory on what yoga is and why we do it. You will leave this class with a good foundation for your continuing yoga practice. If you have been putting off trying yoga this is a great opportunity to experience what yoga can do for you. More experienced students are welcome to come and brush up on their alignment!

Enjoy a transformational weekend of yoga and live music this fall. Aum Tala Yoga is the yoga of primal rhythm. We will lead classes incorporating music, asana, and mantra chanting.
